We set out in the most spontaneous way — purchasing a fifth-wheel trailer and a pickup truck and heading off into the unknown. Back then, the Internet was in its infancy, and there were no online tools to help plan a journey like this. But what we gained — the landscapes, the encounters, the discoveries — shaped us forever. That trip became a cornerstone of our lives and the seed that would later grow into Bandana.
When we returned to Israel, we kept hearing the same thing from friends: “That kind of trip is our dream, but we have no idea where to start.”
So I founded Bandana Caravan Rent to help others experience this same magic.
Since then, Bandana has guided tens of thousands of families, couples, and adventurers through unforgettable RV journeys across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and Asia.
If you ask me what I love most about my work, the answer is simple: customer service. To me, it’s not just a department — it’s the beating heart of everything we do.
Every traveler is a real person with dreams, questions, and concerns. I see it as my mission to provide clarity, encouragement, and a personal touch.
Even as I oversee teams, suppliers, technology, and partnerships, my favorite role remains being on the front lines with our travelers. People are often surprised when they receive a message from me directly. “The CEO is answering me?” Yes — because this is where I belong. Listening, understanding, and walking each traveler through their journey as if it were my own — that’s my foundation. And that’s what Bandana stands for.
To me, our customers are never just “orders.” They’re partners. I learn from every conversation — about what works, what could be better, and how we can keep improving. Many of my customers eventually become lifelong friends.
My commitment to service and professionalism led me to develop the Cramulator — the world’s first RV simulator. This immersive system allows travelers to learn how to operate an RV safely and confidently before they even hit the road.
I personally lead the pre-departure training. But it’s not just about technical know-how. It’s about setting the right expectations: how to drive safely, how to behave in campgrounds, how to pick up and return the RV, how to talk with your kids about the experience, and — just as importantly — what to do when things don’t go as planned. Our goal is to send every customer off with confidence and peace of mind.
Bandana also takes care of all the little details — from insurance and campground discount cards to thoughtful resources that ensure you hit the road with the perfect package: prepared, protected, and excited.
