How booking with Bandana works
We are a booking agency — not a fleet owner, and we say so plainly, because it is how international RV rental actually works:
- We help you choose the right vehicle, route and dates, and get you a best-price quote from established RV rental companies.
- Your rental contract is issued by the local supplier in your destination — the company that owns the vehicle, hands it over and provides roadside assistance on the road.
- We stay available for planning and booking support before and throughout your trip.
Being a booking agent is a normal, trusted model — the same way a travel agent books flights they do not operate. It means local pickup and a local contract, with an experienced team guiding you from start to finish.
Our Story
Isn’t it always so intriguing to ask:
How did you even get into this whole “RV rental business”???
So here’s the story… (the bits in brackets are the more realistic version 
):
Many years ago (more than 25), there lived a little princess. None in the kingdom was more beautiful. The princess grew up, blossomed (very nicely, actually ), and stood tall.
One day, a rumor spread across the kingdom: a brave knight, wearing a red bandana and riding a shiny jeep, had arrived. (To be precise, the jeep was old, banged up, with holes and rust everywhere .)
The knight paraded around the kingdom in his jeep, showing off a little but mostly searching for traces of the princess, whose fame had traveled far and wide.
One day, the knight spotted the princess in all her glory, standing at the gates of a giant castle (actually, an old, broken bus station ), waiting for the king’s chariot to carry her to the land of dreams (line 48 on the way to high school ).
The knight, upon seeing her, slammed the brakes, rolled back a little (remember, the jeep’s brakes weren’t great, plus he was so nervous he missed the pedal ), and said with a straight face:
“The king has sent me to take you and carry you to the Promised Land” (translation: “Forget school, wanna skip and go to the beach?” ).
The princess burst into tears of excitement and replied:
“Thank you, brave knight, for saving me from the evil forces trying to capture me” (in real words: “No problem, sweet boy, just get me a cover story and I’m with you at the beach” ).
The knight declared:
“Fear not, my princess. I’ll defend you with my life” (in reality: “Blame it on me, say I kidnapped you, just please come to the beach with me” ).
The princess climbed into the Golden chariot, and together they rode off to the land of dreams. (And ever since, they’ve been stuck with each other. )
Years went by, a son was born, then a daughter. Kings rose and fell in the kingdom (translation: we changed jobs and bosses ), but their old love for jeeps and traveling remained.
One night, during a trip in the desert, lying on their backs under a sky full of stars, the knight turned to his beloved and said:
“What if we fix up the chariot and set out on a long journey around the world?”
The princess was quiet for a while and then answered:
“What has gotten into you?” (meaning: “Are you out of your mind?” ). After a short pause, she added:
“But if you can bring me the Flower of the Golden Heart, I’ll agree” (translation: “Nice idea, let me think” ).
“But know this, under no condition will I travel in that old Golden chariot. I want one encrusted with diamonds!” (meaning: “Forget that clunky jeep. There’s such a thing as a motorhome, a proper RV, comfy, modern, and one that doesn’t break down every other minute” ).
The knight, knowing he had it in him to find the Flower of the Golden Heart (remember the old cover story trick? ), set out to search for the precious flower and the chariot. (They researched online, asked advisors, wizards, and fortune-tellers )
After nearly two years, the princess and the knight, along with their two young heirs (then only 1.5 and 6.5 years old ), set off on a great journey to the Land of Dreams. (The USA and Canada )
The journey lasted about nine months. We saw so much, we felt thrilled, and above all, we gained tons of experience in RV travel. When we returned home, people began turning to us for advice. Word spread, our phone number passed from one to another. We observed that helping others brought us happiness, and so we decided to establish Bandana Caravan Rent.
