Every rating on this page comes from Bandana Caravan Rent's public Google Business Profile, which now carries over 400 reviews. This page is built from the 390 of them held in our own database, and publishes their totals exactly as they stand: an average of 4.5 out of 5, with 331 five star and 36 one star. We cannot edit a Google review, we cannot keep one out of our own average, and we have never asked anyone to remove one. Google's live count runs ahead of ours - read them all at source.

Yes. Bandana Caravan Rent has been arranging motorhome and RV rentals for more than twenty-five years, under the same name and the same founder.
If you have read that we do not own the vehicles, that is correct, and it is not a catch. We are an agency, not a fleet owner. We hold accounts with the rental operators that do own the vehicles - Cruise America, THL, Fraserway, Indie Campers, Jucy, McRent and others - and we book you with whichever one fits your route, your dates and your budget. You sign that operator's rental contract and collect the vehicle from their counter, exactly as you would if you had booked with them directly. What you get from us is the part they do not do: choosing between them, quoting the total including the charges that appear at the counter, and having someone on your side if something goes wrong eight thousand kilometres from home. We are paid by the operator, not by you.

Twelve reviews, picked by hand from the 390
Three things to know before you read these. We picked these twelve by hand - they are a readable sample, not a random or representative one, and they include one critical review with our reply to it. Our reviews were not originally written in English, so the text below is a translation of what the reviewer actually wrote; the original wording is on Google unchanged. And every name links to that person's own public Google profile, so you can check any of them at source.
We rented two caravans through Bandana for two couples.
We chose to pick them up in Budapest and traveled for 15 days, mainly in Romania.
The great experience started with the good communication with Avi — we got professional, pleasant, and timely answers to every question.
At the rental station everything was ready when we arrived and we were on our way. The staff there were also very nice, helpful, and answered every question we had during the trip on WhatsApp quickly.
Looking forward to our next trip with Bandana.
A short while ago my wife and I returned from a caravan trip in New Zealand. A wonderful, fascinating, experience-rich journey covering both islands — North and South — of this beautiful and unique country.
We rented the caravan through Avi Bandana, an Israeli company that arranges caravan rentals in various countries around the world. They are a professional, experienced, and reliable company with good and efficient customer service.
The owner, Mr. Avi Bandana, was personally available to me, guiding and offering good advice by phone and email, which greatly eased the process of booking the caravan from the local supplier in New Zealand.
Based on our good experience, I can only thank and warmly recommend Avi Bandana to anyone interested in renting a caravan abroad.
Shai Lachman, Jerusalem.
In short: we came for the price, we stayed for the service.
We rented a caravan in Malaga, Spain. The service from Bandana in Israel and at the rental station in Malaga was flawless. The caravan was modern and equipped as described, and the experience was wonderful. Thank you.
Following that experience, we came back several years later, this time to the Pyrenees in Catalonia. Bandana's service stayed excellent as we remembered. Everything worked great. In short — recommended.
We've booked caravans through Bandana 10 times already: Canada, the USA, Scandinavia, Croatia, Iceland, Romania, and Poland. We received excellent service. Tip: when planning the trip, it's important to book the flight and the caravan as close to each other as possible after checking availability. Pay attention to how much a kilometer package costs and how much a single km costs — it's better to book a bit less than what you think. Also check the cost of buying kitchen and bedding equipment in the destination country versus renting. You can of course also bring it from home. Sometimes renting is more expensive than buying (but renting has the convenience that you don't have to go shopping).
With Avi Bandana's help we rented a caravan from Jucy in Australia. The caravan suited our needs. We traveled in it for about a month, during September 2024, without any difficulty. When we needed service from Jucy, we received excellent service.
The preparation we got from Bandana — through conversations with Avi, exchanges with him, and the videos — was excellent and prepared us well for the journey.
Wrapping up another caravan trip — 10 experience-rich days from Frankfurt to the Black Forest, Switzerland, and Alsace. Excellent service from Bandana, everything clicked, and the service at the Frankfurt station was excellent.
The model we chose, V1, is suitable and excellent for 2 people.
We'll continue our travel tradition with Bandana — already planning the next destination…
Overall, the experience with the caravan itself was only mediocre. We deliberately requested the largest and highest-quality caravan Bandana had to offer. We also paid more to make sure all the basic accompanying equipment was included. We also paid more to make sure it was a caravan no more than a year old. In practice, the caravan was indeed large and only had 3,000 miles on the speedometer, but the quality of it was only mediocre. The oven and gas didn't work at all. We were told at the agency there was a RECALL on these appliances, and the alternative was (in these words) "either you agree to take it AS IS, or you can cancel the deal and we'll give you the money back"!! Just like that, while we were standing with our suitcases in the agency parking lot, after a 24-hour journey from Israel. It was mainly very puzzling that no one bothered to update us in advance, through Bandana, that there was a problem with the oven and stovetop — and why, if they already knew there was a defect 3,000 miles ago, they didn't replace them with new ones or repair them. Additionally, the entire finish of the wood and plastic work was very poor. The cabinet doors fell apart on us, the folding mechanism of the outside awning broke down after three days and we had to manually roll it up every evening and morning and tie it with a zip tie we'd brought from home (lucky for us). The fridge didn't work well on the first day (after the major shopping run) and we had to throw out some of the food. The cigarette-lighter socket through which you charge phones simply pulled out of place entirely. The water heating mechanism was underpowered, with only lukewarm water (and we were just a couple, no kids!). The water connection hose fell apart after three days and again we had to deal with fixing it by buying parts at a suitable store. Additionally — all the items they gave us as a 'comfort kit', for which we'd paid an extra fee, were a collection of used kitchenware that was clearly assembled in a completely random way, including a broken toaster and pots with mismatched lids.
There was indeed a support center that was available, and they authorized us to buy coolers to keep the food fresh until the fridge would work again, and authorized buying small cooking burners in place of the stovetop that didn't work. But it was all improvisation, and certainly didn't match our expectation and the clear understanding that we weren't skimping on a shekel in order to get the best.
By the way, the agency in Las Vegas does free pickups from the airport, but for some reason not from the hotels on the main strip. Just more taxis back and forth.
In short — half a clutch (so to speak) entirely.
Mostly we felt there was no advantage to renting the caravan through the agency in Israel — you can coordinate everything directly with the agency there. Either way, we didn't feel they took extra care of us or that there was any meaningful responsibility or connection between the local agency and Bandana.

First, thank you for the time and effort you put into such detailed and substantive feedback. It matters to us to hear how customers felt at the end of the experience so we can keep improving. We represent many motorhome suppliers around the world, and service quality varies between them. The supplier your motorhome came from is known as one of the best in the USA, both for the young age of its fleet and for its customer service. So I was surprised to read here - for the first time - that you had faults with the vehicle. Until this moment I had no idea your experience was less than excellent. If the quality of the rental left you dissatisfied, that is a rare event and we apologise for it. A motorhome is a complex machine and any system can fail, though it is not reasonable for so many to fail in one rental; brand-new vehicles do sometimes have technical teething problems, and that may be what happened here. We were certainly not informed of any recall on the oven or the microwave, or we would have told you. It is a pity you did not contact us in real time - we have more than 22 years of experience and a great deal of willingness to help with anything within our reach. In any case, the supplier did the right and proper thing in crediting you for the coolers, for the food that was thrown away, and for the toaster oven you bought. As for the comfort kit, now that I am reading for the first time that it was not up to standard, we will contact the rental station immediately and look into it. You can be sure we make every effort to secure the highest level of service. For your information and that of other readers, we do not decide which hotels are served by the pickup shuttle; that is set by the rental stations locally and is described precisely on the Bandana site. I hope we will have the chance to serve you again in future, and that you have a corrective experience. Thank you again for this vital feedback. Yours in friendship, Avi Bandana.
We had a wonderful experience with Bandana Caravans. We received a new motor caravan, even with kitchen equipment we didn't ask for. The caravan was good, although in the first two days it wasn't easy to drive a large vehicle with a manual gearbox, but over time I got used to it and it was an unforgettable experience. For almost three weeks we traveled in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and a bit of Italy. Warmly recommend!!
Third time booking through them, this time in Europe (twice before in the USA).
Gave good service, good advice, and good recommendations.
Was available for advice from afar even while I was abroad.
On his recommendation I also took out deductible insurance which in retrospect saved me more than 1,500 euros, and I also got help filing the claim.
Definitely a satisfied customer.
We've been enjoying the service from Avi and the Bandana team for several years now. We've already done two caravan trips in the USA and one in Europe. There's always someone to turn to, at any hour. Avi's preparation is thorough and covers all aspects — technical training on the vehicles as well as cultural tips based on the location and local customs. I always compare the cost with booking directly through various suppliers, and the price is always the same. But the level of service makes all the difference.
Amazing experience with Bandana Caravan Rent. They don't appear at the top of the first Google results when searching for caravans in Canada, and you'll have to pay in advance when filling out the search request. But from my experience, they offered the lowest price compared to anywhere else I checked.
Avi was very helpful and patient in fully explaining the process in detail. Many thanks for finding us our dream caravan in the Canadian Rockies!!!
We had a very positive experience with the caravan arranged for our vacation in Turkey. Even when the van we were supposed to rent was damaged in an accident before we were due to pick it up, a replacement van was located and provided to us at short notice. Excellent service, thank you.
36 people gave us one star. That is 9.2 per cent of our reviews, and it is why the average on this page is 4.5 rather than 5.
We are not going to summarise what they say. A summary of complaints written by the company being complained about is worth nothing, and we have not counted them, so any pattern we claimed would be a guess. They are on Google, unedited, and the link at the top of this page goes straight to them.
One of the twelve reviews above is a critical one, published here with our reply to it.
How these reviews are collected, and what they do not show
Where they come from.
Every review counted or quoted here comes from Bandana Caravan Rent's public Google Business Profile. We add reviews from nowhere else, and we host no review form of our own.
How the 4.5 is calculated.
It is the mean of all 390 star ratings in our database, rounded to one decimal, recomputed every time this page is rebuilt. Nothing is excluded, weighted or filtered, and it is not typed in by hand. Google's profile now shows over 400, because it keeps counting after our last import - if you click through and see a different total, that is why.
Translation.
Our reviews were not originally written in English. The text on this page is a translation of what each customer actually wrote, and the original wording is published unchanged on our Google profile, where you can read it yourself. If you are one of our reviewers and we have rendered your words badly, email info@rent-motorhome.com and we will correct the translation or remove the quotation.
Dates.
We do not hold an exact date for any individual review. What we have is Google's relative label - "three years ago", "edited: a year ago" - and that is all. Rather than invent dates we publish none, and for the same reason this page carries no per-review structured data, which would require one. Click a reviewer's name and Google will show you theirs.
Age.
Our reviews skew old, and we would rather say so than let you work it out. Of the 390 reviews carrying a date label, 40 are less than a year old, 83 are one to two years old, and 147 are six years or older. 0 carry no label at all. This is a record built slowly over about eight years, not a burst collected in one campaign.
Which twelve, and out of what.
Before we picked them, the pool was already smaller than 390: to appear as a card a review needs text in both languages, a complete name and a working reviewer profile link. We then chose twelve by hand for length, for spread across destinations, and to include one critical review. There was no star filter. The complete set - positive, negative and untranslatable - is on Google.
Where these customers travelled
These are the destinations that come up in our reviews. The rest do not name one.
Yes. Bandana Caravan Rent has been arranging motorhome and RV rentals for more than twenty-five years. Our Google Business Profile carries over 400 public reviews averaging 4.5 out of 5, and every reviewer name on this page links to that person's own public Google profile. We are an agency rather than a fleet owner: we book customers with local rental operators such as Cruise America, THL, Fraserway, Indie Campers, Jucy and McRent.
How many reviews does Bandana Caravan Rent have, and what is the rating?
Over 400 on Google. This page is built from the 390 held in our database, which average 4.5 out of 5. The breakdown is 331 five star, 14 four star, 4 three star, 5 two star and 36 one star. That average is computed over all 390, not over the twelve reviews shown here, and nothing is excluded or filtered out of it.
Does Bandana Caravan Rent own the motorhomes it rents out?
No, and we have never claimed to. We are a booking agency. We hold accounts with the rental operators that own the vehicles and book you with the one that fits your route, dates and budget. The rental contract you sign at the pickup counter is with that operator, and the vehicle, the insurance and the roadside assistance are theirs. We are paid by the operator, not by you.
Can I check Bandana Caravan Rent's reviews myself?
Yes, and that is the point of this page. Every reviewer name here links to that person's own public Google profile, and the link at the top goes to our full Google Business Profile, where all of the reviews are readable and unedited. Our reviews were not originally written in English, so the text on this page is a translation of what each reviewer actually wrote; the original wording is on Google. If we have rendered a reviewer's words badly, we will correct or remove the quotation on request.
Why does Bandana Caravan Rent have 36 one-star reviews?
36 of the 390 reviews we hold, or 9.2 per cent, are one star. We have not summarised what they say, because a summary of complaints written by the company being complained about is worth nothing. They are counted in the 4.5 average, they are shown in the breakdown at the top of this page, and they are readable in full on our Google profile. We cannot delete a Google review, we cannot keep one out of our own average, and we have never asked anyone to remove one.
How recent are Bandana Caravan Rent's reviews?
They span roughly eight years, and they skew old. Of the 390 reviews carrying a Google date label, 40 are less than a year old, 83 are one to two years old and 147 are six years or older; 0 carry no label at all. We do not hold an exact date for any individual review, because Google gives us only relative text such as three years ago, which is also why this page publishes no per-review structured data.
Ask us something hard before you book
Avi is named by name in 5 of the twelve reviews above - scroll up and count them. He is the person who has been running Bandana for more than twenty-five years, and he still takes the phone calls. If you want to find out whether there is a real person behind this page before you send anyone a few thousand euros, that is the fastest way to do it.
