What Our Customers Say

We rented a caravan in Malsch near Baden-Baden — a large station with excellent and friendly staff (warmly recommend starting a caravan trip in the Black Forest or eastern France through them). On Avi's recommendation we left Israel on July 30, after Covid wave 3 and before Covid wave 4… in great timing. A very enjoyable trip with a great choice of campsites — Rheinmünster (near Baden), Schluchsee right next to the lake, and Iffezheim near the Rhine river. After 3 rentals in Germany (for trips in Scandinavia, Holland-Belgium, and now the Black Forest), the next destination will be North America — and we'll come back to Bandana for Avi. Yitzhak.

We're back from a vacation of two and a half weeks in Holland and Belgium, where we picked up our 2 caravans in Düsseldorf. The service was dedicated and efficient, the caravan training in the simulator was very efficient and useful, and saved us quite a bit of time when signing for the vehicles. Beyond that, we got 2 caravans that were almost completely new (only about 3,000 km), without any issues during the vacation. This is also the place to commend the caravan agency in Germany — they explained everything patiently, checked every detail with us, and were really fair throughout the return process. (Of course, we made sure to return the equipment in the same condition we received it.) There's no doubt the trip and caravan experience were excellent — in no small part thanks to you. Warmly recommended. Shay

FAQs About Renting an RV in Netherlands

What's the minimum age to rent an RV in Netherlands?

The minimum age to rent a motorhome in the Netherlands is 21. Unlike many other locations, there are no young driver surcharges applied for renters between the ages of 21 and 25, and there are no vehicle class restrictions based on age.

Can I pick up in Netherlands and drop off elsewhere?

Yes, one-way rentals are often possible, allowing you to pick up your motorhome in the Netherlands and drop it off in another country like Germany, Belgium, or France. These types of rentals typically incur a one-way fee and are subject to availability, so it's best to check options early.

How far in advance should I book my Netherlands RV rental?

For the best selection of vehicles and more attractive pricing, we recommend booking your motorhome 6 to 9 months in advance, especially if you plan to travel during the peak season of July and August. For travel during the shoulder seasons (spring and autumn), booking 3 to 5 months ahead is usually sufficient.

What's included in the daily price?

A standard rental quote typically includes the motorhome hire, basic vehicle insurance, kitchen and cooking equipment, and a set number of kilometers. You can upgrade to a top-level deductible for extra peace of mind, but this is an optional add-on and not included by default. Always review the specific terms of your rental agreement for a complete list of inclusions.

Do I need a special licence for a motorhome in Netherlands?

No, you do not need a special license. A standard car driver's license (like a Class B in Europe or a Class D in the US) is sufficient to rent and operate all motorhome classes available for hire, including Class A, Class B, and Class C vehicles. No commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.

When is the best time to take an RV trip in Netherlands?

The best time for an RV trip is during the shoulder seasons of late spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October). During these periods, the weather is generally pleasant, the famous flower fields are in bloom (in spring), and the summer crowds have thinned out, making for a more relaxed experience.
