About The Frontier

Explore Australia’s most beautiful destinations in luxury and comfort with our 2-Person Motorhome ‘The Frontier’. This custom-designed and built motorhome suits travellers seeking a spacious, self-contained and fully-equipped motorhome, complemented with the top-quality service RedSands Campers is known for.
Inside, you’ll find generous living space with a seating and sleeping area, a shower and toilet cubicle, a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, and even an LCD screen. Throughout the motorhome, smart storage solutions provide plenty of room for all your luggage.

Rates' Notes
    • First aid kit is included on board. If used, $50 will be charged and then it becomes the property of the hirer.
    • Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles or rooftop tents. Should smoke be detected, a minimum cleaning fee of $500 will be applicable.
    • Animals must not be carried in the Vehicle, excluding registered disability assistance dogs. Should it be noted that animals have been carried, a minimum cleaning fee of $500 will be applicable.
    • Vehicle must return with full tank of fuel. If not a re-fuelling fee of $3 per litre will be charged.
    • Vehicle and equipment must return in clean condition, otherwise a fee of $75 per hour will be charged.
    • A Hema 4WD map is provided in all vehicles at no extra charge. This must be returned with the vehicle otherwise a $50 fee will be charged.
    • Rental stations in Broome and Darwin are only open between the months of April and October.
    • A surcharge of $150 will apply to all rentals picking up or dropping off during holidays. For details, please refer to 'Public Holiday Fee' on 'Terms & Conditions'.
    • Minimum rental period is 14 days for 4X4 vehicles or one-way rentals.
    • All rental stations are closed on January 1 and December 25-26. In addition, the following stations are closed on the following dates:
      • Broome and Perth: 29 March 2024, 31 March 2024, 1 April 2024, 18 April 2025, 20 April 2025, 21 April 2025
      • Darwin: 1 April 2024
      • Adelaide: 30-29 March 2024, 1 April 2024, 24 December 2024, 31 December 2024, 19-18 April 2025, 21 April 2025, 254 December 252, 252 December

In June 2023 we took our first caravan trip of this kind through the Canadian Rockies. We rented the caravan through Bandana about 5 months in advance. Everything was perfect — from making the reservation and getting answers to all our questions, through the period between the booking and the start of the trip, all the way to the trip itself, where we leaned on them often and benefited from professional tips. We took a caravan through Bandana. The caravan itself met expectations and was picked up and returned safely. Avi was available before the booking, before the trip for every question (and there were quite a few), and even during the vacation. Only good words for his part in an amazing vacation. The caravan we got was at a level of equipment and comfort that was truly "German". Knowing you also have an Israeli back-up in case of issues/problems (even though there weren't any) definitely helps you get into the caravan project with peace of mind. This is my third time.
