About Active Plus Select
The Active Plus is a medium-sized campervan built for comfort, flexibility, and unforgettable road trips. Sleeping arrangements include two double beds - one located in the pop-up roof and another at the rear of the van - ensuring restful nights for every traveler. The kitchenette is well-equipped with two gas stoves, a sink, and a 95-liter fridge, giving you everything you need to prepare meals wherever you are. The integrated bathroom includes a toilet, washing basin, and a shower, so you can enjoy convenience and privacy no matter where the road takes you.
The living area features a bench seat, two swivel chairs, and a foldable table, creating a functional space to dine, relax, or plan your next stop. Interior storage compartments help keep your gear and belongings organized throughout the trip. The Active Plus is equipped with an integrated heating system and all the necessary systems for a fully autonomous experience, making it a great choice for off-the-grid travel in any season.
For trips in New Zealand, this vehicle is certified self-contained, allowing you to stay in designated freedom-camping areas where self-contained vehicles are permitted. Local camping rules and restrictions still apply.

- Rental price includes one driver over or under the age of 25. Additional drivers are only possible by adding the "All Inclusive" package, and then the drivers must be over the age of 25.
- Drivers under the age of 25 cannot purchase the Insurance Excess Reduction.
- If you have a driver's license that is limited to automatic vehicles only, please indicate this in the booking comments.
- Rental price includes 410 kms per night. Any additional km will be charged at €0.49 at drop-off.
- Customer will be charged NZ$125 for every 1⁄4 tank missing when returning the camper.
- Camper must return clean and with wastewater tank and toilet cassette empty, otherwise, up to NZ$250 will be charged.
- If an early/late pick-up or a late return has been booked and the rental station will not be able to supply the vehicle at the requested time - we will contact you before we confirm the booking.

In June 2023 we took our first caravan trip of this kind through the Canadian Rockies. We rented the caravan through Bandana about 5 months in advance. We took a caravan through Bandana. The caravan itself met expectations and was picked up and returned safely. Avi was available before the booking, before the trip for every question (and there were quite a few), and even during the vacation. Only good words for his part in an amazing vacation. The caravan we got was at a level of equipment and comfort that was truly "German". Knowing you also have an Israeli back-up in case of issues/problems (even though there weren't any) definitely helps you get into the caravan project with peace of mind. This is my third time.
